Haiku: About Snow

My second haiku.

淡雪も長く生きたし緩く舞う

Light spring snow,

Longing to stay longer,

Drift down softly.

季語：淡雪 (for spring)

Commentary:

I tried to mimic one of Basho's haiku:

初時雨猿も小蓑を欲しげなり

to describe the falling of the snow. The snow cannot escape the fate to fall and disappear...
